YOUTH DEER SEASON
- IOWA RESIDENTS ONLY -
Take a youngster out in late September for a fun, mild-weather hunt in the
great state of Iowa where bucks are still on somewhat of a summer feeding
patterns while in bachelor groups with other bucks coming to food in the evenings.

NOTES ON YOUTH HUNTs
Youth Season in Iowa which starts in late September and runs over into the first days of October & the opening of Bow Season. Also, this is only available to Iowa residents. Youth hunters that are non-residents must hunt as non-resident adults do while having completed hunter safety successfully with documentation. MDLO requires all youth hunters must be accompanied by a non-hunting parent/guardian adult that has completed Hunter Safety.
